The Organizing Committee of the Second International Central and Eastern European Investment Conference held its first meeting in the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

On February, 20 the Organizing Committee of the Second International Central and Eastern European Investment Conference held its first meeting involving the participation of Anatoly Aksakov, president of the Association of Regional Banks of Russia, deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Financial Markets.

 

Richard Hainsworth (president of CFA Association, Russia), Igor Dombrovan (managing director of SaxoBank in the Moscow office), Andrey Demchenko (director general of the Institute for Development of Financial markets), Vladimir Siusari (debt funding, Binbank ), Mikhail Kuznetsov (executive director of Corporate Directors and Managers Association), Vladimir Zharinov (CPA vice president, business development director of the International Institute of Professional Accountants) and other experts took part in the meeting of the Organizing Committee.

 

The Organizing Committee met for the first time to discuss the plan of the event including the mission and agenda of the conference, speakers and participants.

 

Anatoly Aksakov, president of the Association of Regional Banks of Russia, deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Financial Markets opened the meeting and said that all the participants should take utmost responsibility for this event and the conference must be held at the highest level.

 

In addition to the discussion of the agenda, mission and objectives of the event, the issue relating to the formation of integration space in Central and Eastern European countries was brought sharply into focus.

 

Prior to the conference, the meeting of the Organizing Committee will be held on a regular basis. The next meeting is scheduled for early April.
